Porsche introduces two updated electric bikes for 2023

On 28/05/2023, Porsche introduced two new models to expand its eBike range. The upcoming additions to the Porsche eBike range are the Porsche eBike Cross Performance and the Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC, available in six original Porsche vehicle colours. The Porsche eBike Cross has been on the market for two years and offers sporty action and maximum off-road comfort.

The new Porsche eBike Cross Performance model provides even more adrenaline and excitement with its Fox Factory suspension, powerful Shimano EP-801 motor and 630 WH battery, ensuring outstanding performance on the trails. The EP801 engine offers two ride profiles, each with unique support modes and the ability to customize up to 15 support parameters in Profile 2’s Fine Tune Mode.

The Porsche eBike Cross Performance has the Auto Shift function for independent system shifting and the Free Shift function for crank-free shifting. Optimal deceleration is guaranteed by the Magura MT7 brake system with its forged aluminum four-piston caliper. The bike’s comfort is further enhanced by the Fox 34 Float Factory suspension fork with 120mm of travel and the Fox Float DPS Factory air shock with 100mm of travel at the rear.

The Porsche eBike Cross Performance’s carbon fiber frame is inspired by the Porsche 911 and Porsche Taycan’s sporty sloping roofline, with performance lettering and a matching Fox Factory color scheme. The Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC is designed to meet individual requirements and comes in selected colors from the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, including Star Ruby Neo, Ice Gray Metallic, Mamba Green Metallic, Carmine Red, Shade Green Metallic and Shark Blue.

The new Porsche eBike models are available in three frame sizes (S, M and L) through various channels, including the Porsche online store, Porsche Design Stores and selected Porsche Centers. The weight of the Porsche eBikes (size M) is 21 kg, with a maximum weight capacity of 120 kg. The Porsche eBike Cross Performance is priced at $13,900, while the Porsche eBike Cross Performance EXC costs $15,000.
