Coming from Denver, Colorado, Deee-Nice is a rising rapper who prides himself on his flow – a mix of elements that will relive the rhythm from the 90s and early 00s. A mix of acoustic melodies and groovy beats, Deee-Nice’s style is perfectly showcased through his latest offering, although he has a variety of releases under his belt.
Released on April 7, “Sunset Dream” was inspired by the artist’s soon-to-be fiance, combining his love affair with acoustic guitar, boom-bap drums and a ’90s hip-hop-inspired flow. A DIY sound compliments the song’s message – which in the artist’s words is: “Love requires time away from the everyday, on the surface it seems like a sacrifice but in reality it’s the single greatest gift you can ever give to your waking life – it feels like a dream.”
