Bugatti collaborated with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM) to create a unique version of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport called “L’Or Blanc.” This car is the first car to wear porcelain on the body and cabin.
The car has an abstract exterior design with blue lines flowing over its white exterior. The design team at Bugatti used a special tape made from Japanese soft tissue to create the lines of the car’s body. Bugatti’s color specialists then filled every millimeter of the marked lines with blue paint by hand, resulting in a varied and powerful gradient of blue and white.
The porcelain elements, manufactured by KPM, were carefully examined for car safety and quality before being applied to the car. The car’s exterior and interior features porcelain elements that fit seamlessly with the Bugatti components.
